Bridal Tasting & Mike Roman comes to Pure Joy!






We had our annual Bridal Open House & Tasting and it was a smashing success, 300 guests began their visit with curbside Signature Valet & were treated to a seemingly endless array of delicious menu items and lots of fun and cocktails! Many of our most favorite vendors were here to strut their stuff and make the whole thing POP and it was really over the top! Then, that night, the GODFATHER of catering, Michael Roman of Catersource arrived for his visit!! He was here till Wednesday giving us advice and kudos. Hes been so instrumental for the entire life of Pure Joy that it was an incredible honor to have him and Bernice come see our new building and review our operations, we got an A+. The new economy has prompted our culinary team to create a variety of new money-saving menus and theme solutions and Michael was full of great ideas.

Hers some more pics of the open house & tasting we did, this is our fresh peach bellini, fresh squeezed margaritas (cha cha cha) , our red velvet cupcakes (we also did our new German chocolate cupcakes & 5 others and the last shot is from our "honey I shrank the chicken entree station", this ones the chicken provencial, very yummy on orzo. But the seafood, tenderloin carving station with 5 sauces, the chef manned pasta with handmade gnocchi and the mini take away desserts...all so lovely!

Catersource Catering Convention!


We just got back from a week in Las Vegas at the Annual Catersource Catering Convention and boy, did we learn a lot! We have all finally recovered from our long week in Vegas and our heads are just spinning with all the new ideas and trends we want to share for this upcoming wedding season. From trends like small plates to using feathers (everywhere!) to this seasons color (mimosa!) we are just so excited to start working out all the details for our brides this year.
